02 - If using lollipop sticks, insert one stick into each marshmallow, pushing about halfway through.
03 - Place chopped chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring thoroughly after each, until completely smooth and melted. Alternatively, melt in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water, stirring constantly.
04 - Hold each marshmallow by the stick and dip halfway into the melted chocolate. Gently lift and let excess chocolate drip back into the bowl.
05 - Immediately coat the chocolate-dipped portion with sprinkles while the coating is still wet, ensuring even coverage.
06 - Place completed marshmallows on the prepared baking sheet. Allow to set at room temperature for 30 minutes, or refrigerate for 10 minutes until chocolate is completely firm.
